Senior Instructor

Violette firmly believes in making music-learning an enjoyable, personalised experience for her students. She sees music as a platform for students to express themselves, and to develop confidence, discipline, and creativity. She likes incorporating singing, body movement, and story-telling into her lessons to make piano learning a more engaging and holistic experience.

Violette graduated with a Masters degree in Composition from the Royal College of Music (London). Before that, she achieved a Distinction in Advanced Keyboard Studies while doing her Bachelor Degree at the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music. Her compositions have been premiered at London’s prestigious National Portrait Gallery, read and performed by groups such as the BBC Singers and the Soundinitiative Ensemble from Paris. ABRSM Diploma in Piano Music Performance. ABRSM Grade 8 Flute.
