Tessa
Senior Instructor
Tessa is a classically trained pianist, with over 8 years of teaching and performance experience that extends to playing the clarinet in a Symphonic band. She also possesses additional expertise in accompaniment for Saxophone, Violin, Dance and Vocals. She is passionate about creating wonder with students and audiences, enlightening them with new musical experiences.
After obtaining her Grade 8 Practical from the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM), Tessa received her Diploma in Piano (ATCL) from Trinity College London (TCL) under Dr. Andjelita Zeng in 2019. Tessa graduated from Lasalle College of the Arts, majoring in Bachelor of Classical Performance, under the tutelage of Mr. Frank DeMeglio.
Tessa was involved in performances including Bel Amour Valentine’s Day(2020) recital at the Esplanade Library, Lasalle’s 2020 Open House, Lasalle’s in-house Concerto Competition where she played as Secondo, Lasalle’s own production of Piano Voyage 2021: Global Transmission; The Museum of Musical Infection and Piano Voyage 2021: A Night at the Opera. Tessa has also participated in local music competitions including the Ars Nova Festival and the Asia Arts Festival.
