Rachel
Senior Instructor
Rachel holds a Master of Performance in Piano Accompaniment (Distinction) from the Royal College of Music, where she studied under top pianists like Roger Vignoles, Simon Lepper, and Leon McCawley.
She was awarded 2nd Prize in the Joan Chissell Schumann Competition and has performed as both soloist and collaborator at venues like Esplanade, Victoria Concert Hall, and SOTA. Rachel also spent 6 years at Yong Siew Toh Conservatory as an accompanist and was a student at Chetham’s School of Music in the UK on a NAC bursary and scholarship. She was a grand finalist in the Audi Junior Musician Competition and performed at the President’s Young Performers’ Concert in 1995.
As a teacher with over 13 years of experience in classical piano, Rachel is known for her fun and lively teaching style. She specializes in intermediate to advanced students, focusing on building a strong foundation while keeping lessons engaging and motivating. Her students not only grow technically but also stay inspired along their musical journey.
