Zhi Hui’s musical journey began early at the age of four. As she delved into the disciplines of piano and clarinet, she discovered her lifelong passion for music performance and teaching. Her extensive musical experience includes performing with the NTU Symphonic Band in Singapore, playing as the first clarinet with the Foon Yew Wind Orchestra in Malaysia, and founding her own ensemble, The Clarinet Fugue.
Since graduating from Lasalle College of the Arts in Singapore, Zhi Hui has been teaching piano and clarinet for 18 years. Her lessons are distinguished by her passion for music and her deep love for children. She combines her expertise in piano and clarinet to provide students with a broad exposure to the world of music, earning widespread acclaim for her unique teaching approach. Countless students of hers have obtained Distinction and Merit in ABRSM exams with a 100% pass rate.
Zhi Hui holds a Diploma in Music Performance (Classical Piano) from Lasalle College of the Arts in Singapore, as well as ABRSM Grade 8 certifications in Piano, Theory, and Clarinet.
